Glorious. From me questioning in the very beginning of the gentle babe's patriarchal figure to moments up the fathers return there was an aire of happiness, of playfulness. Then, suddenly the father, trodden down by life of wageslavery as his witchly burdenful wife cinnives and plots with her spawn against their fruitbearer, opens the door to what seems to be at first glance, and first whiff; dogshit. Then whatever joy was in that room as real life slammed its way back in to the picture. The dad is fucking annoyed and the baby is crying, and the mom is filming and the juxtaposition has me in tears and my sides hurting.
